Rathowen So Free (Kolbeach Freedom x Radway Royal Sonnet (Imp.)) Show quality chestnut filly foaled 10.11.07. .

From the same mare as Rathowen Saxony (owned by Martine Duncan) - Champion Pony Hack at 2009 Melbourne Royal, Champion Ridden Riding Pony at 2009, 2010 Sydney Royal and Champion Led and Ridden Riding Pony at Canberra Royal 2009.  Runner-Up NSW POTY 2009 to R. Quantum.  Lovely quiet filly to mature between 12.2 and 13h.  Well handled and ready to break in.

We've said it before but it never seems to work - we are trying to cut down !!!!

2 YEAR OLD SHOW QUALITY COLT

We have a bay colt, rising two, by Courtland Boy Blue (Imp.) from Glenrowan Diffinity, over which we have been agonising ever since he was born.  He is the last naturally conceived foal by Harry, and we would love to keep him ourselves, but we already have Rathowen By George.  He is out at present, and in winter coat and not currently in show condition but will be for sale probably in September, by which time he should have come into coat.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ARE INVITED  -  Rathowen Right of Way (Sufton Romany Lore x Solitaire of Rathowen {Syon Royal Portrait}) - dark bay Riding Pony Stallion, 14h. Excellent paddock stallion and sire of champion stock, including Sydney royal winner Rathowen Celebration, and Rathowen Beyond Blue.  This year we have retained Reflections on Rathowen, R. Spoken Softly, and R. Sable Way (half-sister to Rathowen Envy).

TO  FOAL  (Approx. November)  SHADES OF RATHOWEN  (Radway Right Royal (Imp.) x Kirreway Soloist (Acrobat).  Black mare, 13.3, 16 years quiet and well handled in foal to Kolbeach Freedom.  In good paddock condition.  Dam of R. Sepia Shadings and Rathowen Shades of Blue (both retained.) etc. Foal eligible for RP. Welsh Partbred, AHSA, ASPA registrations.   $3,500

Chestnut mare approx 14.2,  not served this season, but has just weaned a brilliant chestnut filly (photographed  below ) by Rathowen Right of Way, and dam of Rathowen Review, and Rathowen Ricochet both show winners and now in Queensland.  Good broodmare and mother.  $3,000 plus GST

LANGTREE PERHAPS LOVE  (Langtree Valentine x Langtree Purrfection)

Chestnut mare, 13.3, easy breeder, excellent paddock mare.  Not served last season, but dam of Rathowen Perhaps Liberty by Kolbeach Freedom.  Also dam of Rathowen Perhaps So (Courtland Boy Blue) (advertised in July Horse Deals)..  Broken in and quiet to ride, but has not done nothing for years.

RATHOWEN SEPTIMUS (Kolbeach Freedom x Rathowen Sepia Shadings, dam of Rathowen Free Spirit).  Black weanling show quality gelding, white stockings and stripe, to mature about 13.1  Quiet nature, and brilliant movement.

RATHOWEN QUESTIONS (Kolbeach Freedom x Rathowen Quibble) Weanling chestnut filly with white markings, half sister to and from the same mother as Rathowen Quantum, current NSW POTY, and winner Novice Champion Pony at 2010 Sydney Royal Show, and East Coast champion gelding Rathowen Quartz..  Brilliant mover.  Should mature approx 13.2.

Quibble's chestnut filly ( Questions) takes the eye the instant she moves. She adopts the prettiest frame naturally and has a lovely sweeping movement.  She has a nice stripe, and what looks to be one white foot, and should mature similar height to her half-brother Quantum, who is right up 14h, and having considerably more than his fair share of success at present, even though still a Newcomer. RATHOWEN PERHAPS LIBERTY (Kolbeach Freedom x Langtree Perhaps Love).  Show quality bay weanling filly, no white, to mature about 13.2. Good mover.  

GIVE AWAY  - Well-bred, Show quality BLACK RIDING PONY COLT,  pretty white markings, foaled 3.10.09, but as yet undescended on one side.  Must be gelded.  Available with registrations as gelding only.  Eligible RP, Part Welsh, AHSA, and ASPA.   Should mature approx. 13 h.  Good mover, and unblemished.  Currently in winter coat.  Handled to lead. To competent show home.
